The Console Wars have been raging in living rooms around the world since 1972! In 2023 we are now on the ninth generation of home video game consoles, and The Console Wars Art Series is a series of art prints chronicling the history of consoles through the years.

Generation 1 features some of the very first consoles to compete in the consumer market; Magnavox Odyssey vs Nintendo Color TV-Game 6 vs Atari Pong. These were the three best-selling home consoles out of a generation that saw nearly 100 variants on the "home pong" machine vying for a place in people's homes. Though primitive machines by today's standards, these consoles represent the very beginning of home video game devices!
